  3. Better forget post #6 looks far too shiny
  4. If its old and not worth a light, I suggest a 14lb hammer, it won't fix it but it will make you feel better when you smash it to smithereens

I guess the proof is in the pudding, your landy has served you well, I didn't like my one, and i've read some real horror story's about the TD5, but then I have about clutches on Rangers , engines in Navarras etc etc My ultimate truck would be a Landcruiser truck, no doubt they have there problems

  15. Off topic here sorry, but I own a few acres [smallholding with barns and stables] I currently don't do anything with it. I was thinking of only using it recreationally camping on weekends, large family BBQ's etc, would this be ok in the eyes of the council? Also does anyone know what a ''registered smallholding'' actually means? can a small holding be registered? nowhere in all my old paperwork deeds etc or info held on land registry does it mention ''registered smallholding''.

  20. My brother in-law and family moved out three years ago, he's in Landscaping [runs his own business] she's a part time beauty therapist, he's brimming full of work, a few weeks ago he told my wife/his sister he'll never come back, and we must be idiots for not moving out. The move for him was easy TBH, he had a dead end job, that he hated with very little prospect or money. His 16 yr old daughter hates the place though and is coming home this summer probably for good! If I were you I'd go out for a reconnaissance visit, its the only way you'll know if its for you or not or you'll come home like me and live in ''shall we shan't we'' world for 20 years

  22. you only get one life mate, and time moves very very fast
  23. I have the biggest stihl clearing saw/brushcutter fitted with mulching blade, and have been clearing brambles and blackthorn myself this week, you won't go wrong with the big Stihl FS 550, when clearing large areas blackthorn, rose and bramble you need all the power you can get.
  24. I had a Pocket boy, lovely saw, lost it in a bloody conifer hedge of all the hideous places to loose a good pocket saw............
