  1. Lurchers / Greyhounds can be snappish. Mine is psychotic with other dogs, but stupidly soft with people.
  2. The dog not feeling guilty comes naturally. Dogs dont do guilt. Does this then mean you have the personality of a dog?
  3. I like my dogs, got a giant lurcher and an irish setter. I keep them to keep burglers away, but they are good company. The Dog poo does irritate me though....
  4. That would be nice chambered for 600 nitro Express
  5. Larch and spruce are about 2700kwh per tonne. Obviously, a tonne of 22% moisture content chip will have a higher energy rating than sopping wet fresh chip, and will be a higher volume per tonne. If you charge 2p per Kw, it works out at about £58 per tonne for high grade dry chip. 2p per Kw is a common figure because at that price it just beats mains Gas bought commercialy.
  6. Chortle:001_tongue:
  7. You dont. Ever have that early morning dream where you wake up, get you clothes on, eat breakfast and generally feel good about getting up early? Then the alarm goes and you realise that you've overslept:scared1:
  8. needs a lot of drying to be a good firewood, but I hear your point. A lot of woodchip installations now pay by the KWh, oak I think has 2900kwh per tonne.
  9. oooohh... rude jokes? double entendres? camp suggestions...? I must join in!
  10. Beretta Extreme Rob? nice gun, especially with the 12 shot mag, but its easier to hide mine under your coat
  11. Sometimes a side by side can be a lot of fun too-
  12. It means you ate some strong cheese before going to bed. Try laying off the gorgonzola before bedtime...
  13. Could'nt agree more Ian. Very good points.
  14. See if you can visit when Mrs Dean is around, as she is a cracker, and watching her berate Dean for buying kit is hilarious.
  15. Why criticised? He is most likely working on his own property, and has manged to reach a ripe old age without lethal injury.
  16. Guess again Dean. The few big instalations around the country (lockerbie, Shotton, Wilton 10) suck up every last scrap of biomass we have. I'm hoping that with the additional demand of drax, that is what will push prices up. However, I know the buyers at Drax, and I know that if they cant get it dirt cheap here, they will just ship in a million tonnes of biomass from abroad.
  17. Glee. The special hand cream for evil geniuses.

Range? that depends on whether somebody decides to fire one at you with a trebuchet. given your penchant for doing laurel and hardy stunts on the jobsite and generally maiming yourself, please dont handle firearms in my presence. It was bad enough going duck hunting with Dick Cheyney....
  19. Cool music makes for a great Vid. Nice one Mate.

I wont use chainsaws anymore, as I was told the other day that they are dangerous.
  21. Yes. You probably noticed my lack of sunny personality at 5.30 when I stayed over and had to arise from the dead at stupid o clock.
  22. Monday will be a 5.30 start, as we have to be in manchester for 8am. I like to be onsite by 8.30 working, so that usually dictates my arising time. I HATE getting up too early.
  23. I think it was at the point where the door would'nt open... I should have guessed the little valley with the rushes growing was going to be soft underneath:sad: Just very lucky I had the track machine on the same job - Although as Pete knows, there's a story to the recovery also:001_smile:
  24. Daves disk runs much quicker than mine, unlike me he cannot fit the sandvik duradisc as OE in the US. I run our disc at 1200rpm.
  25. it was deep enough that I could'nt open the cab door.
