  1. Actually Matt its you taking the shot and me leaning against the Dozer
  2. DEpends on whether you want to stay under 3.5 tonnes or not. Most 3.5t crewcabs have a payload of about 1 tonne, and struggle to pull more than 1000kgs.
  3. Most vermeer chippers are good in concept, poor in reality. If you have a good one, hang on to it. Knowing you though Nick, its probably the best kept BC1000 in the UK
  4. I like a button up collar for when it gets warmer.
  5. Looks good, but very expensive.
  6. You will get something towards it a part of a woodland grant scheme (WGS), as I cleared 22 hectares 2 years ago on the estate, paid for by WGS. Talk to your local Forestr commision office, They will give you full details. It needs doing, as Rhody drastically reduces biodiversity in Oak woodland, poisoning everything. If you need a hand, let me know, as I've had an unfortunately large amount of experience in rhody clearing
  7. Dirty Patrol, and on my way home, there was a fire raging above Penmaenmawr, opposite side of the straits from me. Motroway was barely drivable through the smoke. Looks like something from Lord of the rings
  8. Few more. Next week I go back and clear them all up.
  9. Dont feed the trolls
  10. Probably one of the nicer things I've called you.
  11. En effet, la plupart excellent travail. M. Bullman est extrêmement qualifiés dans les détruire de grands hêtres. On l'imagine sans peine qu'il reçoit beaucoup de pratique.
  12. Its a 275hp Dynamic Conehead. Pretty good piece of kit.
  13. Without discussing Brands, for me, an Arb chipper needs to be at least 10" capacity, infeed at least twice that width, minimum of 50hp (preferable 100hp), mounted on a twin axle chassis with 360 turntable, and weigh no more that 2 tonnes. The feed table should be no higher than 650mm from the floor, and at least 1200mm wide. It should have a hydraulic crush facility, built in winch, storage for tools / spare blades, roadcones, rakes and a shovel It should drop no rubbish whilst chipping, and have enough blow to pack a 12 foot chip box. And it should be no more that £22k. Other than Arb work, this is what we use -
  14. Still a pile of pants then?
  15. Hehe. I luvs me a bit of Roots Manuva. -Freestyle? This style is not free - This style is expensive! [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=usaeUUAAnLM[/ame]
  16. They are definately the dogs. I'll have a price for you tomorrow. Do you want an independant Hydraulic pack?
  17. Amazon = The only serious contender / equal to the Patrol
  18. Not here. We've only built a few for customers who want them. There is so much cheap chinese and russian stuff for sale its hard to compete. I started by selling these, http://www.timberwolfcorp.com/log_splitters/ But the shipping costs ruin it, so now we build our own. This is probably the best money can buy - http://www.timberwolfcorp.com/log_splitters/default.asp?id=13
  19. Glen, off chance, did you know Barry Shannahan and Justin O Keefe?
  20. Eh....?
  21. What you get is a set of interchangeable rams, single blade with drop on 2 and 4 way split. JCB rams are made in India. We never use a secondhand Ram, unless you bring one to us. Trouble is, you have to re seal them, hone the bore's, etc etc. Better to just buy high quality in the first place.
  22. Glad I'm not sane then.
  23. Benye is chinese built, for what its worth. Seems good value. A (quality) 4" Ib ram is the best part of £500, so not sure what the quality of Ram on that will be like... I can purpose build you one with 2,4 and 6 way split if you'd like.
  24. I need a unit 5 holder for approx 3 weeks in the new forest area for supervising a harvester, ASAP. PM me for full details.
