  1. Pakenham. Chipper Doctor Ltd - Authorised Service, Repairs, Genuine Spare Parts for Entec and Timberwolf Chipper and Shredders. Stump Grinders and Garden Machinery Repaired. Highly recommend, ex-Timberwolf factory, really knows his stuff.
  2. Bateson are good sturdy trailers, factory is near Stockport.
  3. Well they are designed to crumple on impact. I know where I would rather be when a crash happens...... In the pub across the road.
  4. I think cedar will split too easily personally.
  5. Contact NPTC for your local assessor pool, book the assessment through them and they will allocate you an assessor. Bear in mind you will need to organise a venue for the assessment with suitable trees.
  6. Oh you can't work from any ladder, they are just for access. If you want to work from it you need a MEWP.
  7. The front leg is adjustable to prevent that problem.
  8. Excellent ladders, very stable. I have the 3.6, although taller would be useful on occasion.
  9. You can just do the assessments, no need to redo the courses if you are already up to scratch.
  10. What about a rerun of the workshop guided tour video?
  11. Not as much as you would with a 8018.
  12. Apparently there is an indoor version of axe throwing, commonly played in public houses with simultaneous consumption of alcoholic beverages. Perhaps you guys should look into it?
  13. There is a hi cap version on the drawing board, not quite ready to go on sale yet but it is in the pipeline.
  14. Cheers Mark, good to meet you too.
  15. Well, the rain has stopped on site, forecast for the rest of today isn't too bad.
  16. Looks like you have a bit of knob canker there Rob!
  17. My mistake. I remember the transformer lorry.
  18. I thought yours was a 19-28 Steve?
  19. Sounds reasonable josh. Also welsh businesses are eligible for grant funding so all Welshmen must be millionaires too.
  20. That is the root of the problem, food should be at least twice the price at retail, and farmers should get a much bigger proportion of the retail price. That way we wouldnt need a farming subsidy system. How does anyone look at tesco selling 3 chickens for £5 and not smell a rat? In real terms food has never been cheaper, in the 1950s familys spent about 40% of household income on food, today the figure is nearer 10%. IMO the primary reason for this is supermarkets driving down prices from producers. (not just farmers btw)
  21. You dont even need a rope mate, you can normally reach the top from the ground!
  22. Started at 2pm, took advantage of a 4 hour window of dry weather, got two jobs done, and still home in time for tea.
  23. Actually it would do me fine as I never go more than halfway up a tree anyway. I normally spike a third of the way up and then fell the top out. Thats on pruning jobs obviously.
  24. Not quite sure I follow your maths there Rich.
