  1. Here's a flavour of what we started with!
  2. She's already gone mate!
  3. For sure!
  4. Cheers guys, I'll see if can find the piccies from when we moved in. Over the last 2 and a half years I'v knocked the kitchen and dining room together, taken out the archway into the dining room, altered the staircase, taken the back door out, put in french windows, replaced the front door, fitted central heating, rewired, replumbed, moved the bathroom door, put a new bathroom floor in including new floor joists, complete new bathroom, complete new kitchen, new windows all round, plastered the whole house, reroofed the garage, fitted new garage doors, had new carpets put down, completely decorated, and fitted a big-ass flatscreen! And now I'm going to move, and start all over again! This makes land rover enthusiasts look quite sane!
  5. Market is slow, hoping it will pick up this month, apparently there are some new mortgages coming online in the next few weeks. Yup, its really mine! You didnt think I lived in a hovel did you?! I will be on the move as soon as this gets sold, got the first viewing on Saturday, so I'll keep you posted.

  7. If you need a good length bed, then look at the supercab variants of ranger/b2500/navara. Cab and a half rather than a double cab, plenty of room for crap behind the seats, but terrible for any unfortunate passengers in the back. Saying that, all double cabs are horrible for rear seat passengers, due to the crippling lack of legroom.
  8. Nice! It was worth climbing just to get that video!
  9. SK is Stockport, High Lane is somewhere over the Disley side, near the Peak District.
  10. Plus if you factor in unlimited quantities of free fuel, if you happen to be a tree surgeon, it starts to look very attractive.
  11. Thanks! So are you working for a firm then?
  12. Yup, Justin. (Jonesie)

    was this you

Totally agree, I wouldnt have hit the roof though, I would have sacked them on the spot. If you need that kind of adrenaline rush you should go snowboarding, not monkey around in the workplace. Very unprofessional.

    4X4 Advice??

Me and the missus used to kip in the back of my ranger. She preferred it to a tent!

    4X4 Advice??

Kia Sportage or Sorento, best value for money, best mpg, lowest street cred.
  18. I did consider it, but there was a cherry in the way, and I couldnt persuade the client to let me fell it. The garden isnt, no. The tree is now though, I fly tipped all the brash on your client's drive.
  19. Precision felling
  20. Sell it to Steve. He's always complaining about having no wood!
  21. Not if you find the right market. I can see it in very small very expensive bundles in a posh garden centre, being sold to put on barbeques and chimineas.
  22. Cue the naked man in boots wielding a large shotgun.
  23. Why, do you want a proper truck to replace your mog?!
  24. Peter

    395xp or ms660?

All saws weigh the same once they are in a cut.

Your new avatar pic is pretty good too, never thought you'd scrub up that well in a wig.
