  1. I use a 4.8 mm file on the 441, and I have sharpened 260s with the same file, and they seem to cut just fine as long as you always use the same size file.
  2. I'd imagine it was top roped, and then lifted off by winching up with the hobbs, then lowered.
  3. Best before, get 'em eaten. Use by, requires a little more discretion!
  4. Get one of these cats and you can charge double [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ozw8HZDPf7w]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ozw8HZDPf7w[/ame]
  5. Are you sure you havent made that up? I suppose its common name is the Voluptous Fire Fungus?!
  6. You need spikes for dismantles, (ie if the tree is being removed completely) but they should never be used on pruning. Harness is very much a personal thing, if you can try before you but so much the better. Whereabouts are you?
  7. It cant. I'v tried.
  8. I have always steered well clear of getting either, they are probably just as bad as each other. One you'll spend all weekend lying underneath covered in gunk, and the other i can only imagine.......

  12. I would have taken him up on that like a shot
  13. No, somewhere really upmarket, like Ordsall. I do have some friends in Little Hulton, on of the nicer bits. Yes there are some!
  14. I'v only been here a couple of years, but my missus is from Worsley. Names dont ring any bells.
  15. What's the old saying, a picture is worth a thousand lies?! If it was next door to your house it would be worth double!
  16. The pictures in post 23 will confirm this...
  17. Nothing wrong with that sanny, my only comments if I was being very nit-picky would be a bit too much off that big limb on the right, and maybe a bit too much on the lift. I am aware that you have to work to the spec, ie give the client (and the boss), what they want. The finer points of thins/reductions/lifts come with time and confidence to do what you think is best and tell the boss/client so!
  18. Here's a few from the bathroom project.
  19. Here's a flavour of what we started with!
  20. She's already gone mate!
  21. For sure!
  22. Cheers guys, I'll see if can find the piccies from when we moved in. Over the last 2 and a half years I'v knocked the kitchen and dining room together, taken out the archway into the dining room, altered the staircase, taken the back door out, put in french windows, replaced the front door, fitted central heating, rewired, replumbed, moved the bathroom door, put a new bathroom floor in including new floor joists, complete new bathroom, complete new kitchen, new windows all round, plastered the whole house, reroofed the garage, fitted new garage doors, had new carpets put down, completely decorated, and fitted a big-ass flatscreen! And now I'm going to move, and start all over again! This makes land rover enthusiasts look quite sane!
  23. Market is slow, hoping it will pick up this month, apparently there are some new mortgages coming online in the next few weeks. Yup, its really mine! You didnt think I lived in a hovel did you?! I will be on the move as soon as this gets sold, got the first viewing on Saturday, so I'll keep you posted.

  25. If you need a good length bed, then look at the supercab variants of ranger/b2500/navara. Cab and a half rather than a double cab, plenty of room for crap behind the seats, but terrible for any unfortunate passengers in the back. Saying that, all double cabs are horrible for rear seat passengers, due to the crippling lack of legroom.
