  1. Interesting stuff.
  2. Actually, using SRT from birth is bound to be the ultimate way to access a tree and work within and about itself, But, really...discussing which system is favored better than the other, is fruitless and would require more zeros and x's than my Personal computer is capable of generating.
  3. I'll get back to you on that.
  4. Nice to meet you at the show and for you to demonstrate the unicender, lovely tool although I have seen no mention of the Lime tree tops that you said snapped out on you whilst using the SRT, yes SRT has it's great uses, so has DRT.
  5. I use the one end with a long lanyard and only use the other end for controlling a long swing back into the tree without braining myself.
  6. I have a normal hard drive placed into a portable case, cheap and reliable, I also back up my important files to a memory stick.
  7. Nice one Mike, fantastic stuff, good if could happen here.
  8. It would be an odd thing to be qualified to inspect others climbing/rigging equipment but not your own.

  10. Take of the front cover of the exhaust, inside there is two bolts either side of the exhaust port, take them out.

  24. I had a similar thing this week when I just got a black screen on boot up, my problem was caused by a Trojan. I went into safe mode and did a system restore and it worked, this was after trying every other thing I could think of. To do a system restore, click START, click ALL PROGRAMS, click ACCESSORIES, click SYSTEM TOOLS, Click SYSTEM RESTORE. Do as Charlieh said and do a Virus/Trojan scan in safe mode. Here is a site posted by the Treespyder along time ago with some very useful reviews and downloadable freeware programs. Gizmo's Freeware Reviews | Gizmo's Freeware
  25. I got them horribly cheap from a contact in the states, he gets trade discount and they were sent, on the sly, as sports gear. Of course, the pound was king then. I think Buzz got a pair from Honey Brothers but they come from WesSpur in the US I think. Your not that far from me, let me know if you want to give mine a spin.
