  1. Haha, I just spotted Foxy in the pictures, say hello from me.
  2. Hmm, yes you are confused but that has nothing to do with it. You can self-tend with a Blakes but you need another small prussik hitched onto the attachment end of your rope, ie, spliced eye, then attach that to the micro pulley. You can then pull up the rope hand over hand. Just a pulley with the Blake hitch is slack tending. Maybe though, I am confused?
  3. According to the WesSpur catalog it's a double braid splice.
  4. Yep I agree.
  5. I have two of the small model Tirfor, you want one or do you require the heavy duty one? I expect so.
  6. Chortle.
  7. Thanks, I am pretty convinced it's the switches, just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything obvious. Pete, you got those switches made up yet?
  8. It's not working on mine, a little annoying, could it be the control switches? As I have already mentioned my switches need replacing, is there anything obvious that in my blind fog of a state I may have missed?
  9. Head in the clouds? No, Ivory tower. Working for a corporation is one thing, rules, guidelines are adhered to for the very real possibility of prosecution if they are not, the private/contractor sector is and can be very different.
  10. Tom, try not throwing so much crap through the poor thing!
  11. I love the first part of your post, try doing that with some of the firms I have worked for. Nice view from up there?
  12. It's a shame the pound is so weak.
  13. Class A's are so much better looking.
  14. That must be me then Bob:001_cool:
  15. Yep, double green I am.
  16. I don't agree with that, I have far more spare time than I ever had slaving for some other head case, five days a week, long days, BS company politics, sheesh! I don't miss it at all.
  17. Received a copy today from Sean at WesSpur, what a fantastic catalog, great product pictures and information and also some cool stickers inside.
  18. I would say, if you are confident of your ability's, do it.
  19. Oh, my boys purchased Franz Ferdinand's latest for their mum, listening to this track tonight...stick with it. [ame] [/ame] Scuze if someone has posted this before.
  20. This just keeps getting better.
  21. Same as, that's why I love being my own boss, nobody can tell what to wear:001_cool:
  22. That depends on whether he's a big lad or not:001_tongue:
  23. Class A's for me.
  24. I agree with Pete, nice work Mike.
