  1. length varies according the amount of wraps you make, the reason its not grabbing is the legs are too long. shorten them a touch or add another wrap
  2. when i say streamlined i meant not as bulky, perhaps a poor choice of words.
  3. yep just fancied something new and shiny...stilll like the treemotion. i do prefer the sequoia though just because its lighter and more streamlined.
  4. great video mike...did you get a pro in?? any particular reason you choose to do your litle side cuts with the silky rather than buzz them in with the 200t after doing the gob?
  5. hell, didnt bother me...i got paid...tree was dead regardless of what state i left the stump in!!!! my point which went un-noticed, is that people are quick to judge the outcome without knowing the events that lead up to it.
  6. i wish i had a picture of my last job today. 25ft conifer that had to be removed, however the customer decided she wanted the stump left about about 15ft, and lots of pegs left as she wanted to grown a climber up it. i can just imagine tree surgeons seeing that without knowing the full story what they might be thinking, its the sort of thing i;d expect to see posted up here!!!
  7. i think the picture of the 357 has been accidentally replaced by some ugly bloke?
  8. nevermind. i suppose i could always open up a sub forum here
  9. thing is, when i started arbtalk i was posting constantly, plus had people helping me do the same. i know nothing about landscaping so wasnt able to do that....and the people who were helping on arbtalk for the most part knew about as much as i did!!!! maybe landscaping just isnt as exciting to talk about as tree work?? im sure someone could make it work, but it wasnt me unfortunately
