  1. lets pretend thats how much:001_smile:
  2. just a mere 1900% price increase:scared1:
  3. we'll be moving over to a dedicated server sometime within the next 48 hours, which should result in a far quicker service and hopefully an end to the problems we've been having the past week or so:001_smile:
  4. wouldnt have minded popping up and giving you a hand myself if i werent busy mate!!! i might acually do that one day, plan a tour of the country stopping by various arbtalkers for a days work here and there...would be fun!
  5. Small Business Accounting Software | QuickBooks® 2008 from Intuit UK
  6. now going into my 4th quarter being vat registered, best thing i ever did for sure. i run everything on quickbooks so my vat returns take about 30 seconds...definetly wouldnt want to be doing it manually!!! and no genset, im not on cash account...i have everything set accural which works best for me at the moment.
  7. apparently the ones you have to watch out for are called africanized european wasps. they have a distinctive nest that hangs in low shurbs a few feet off the ground and are shaped like a rugby ball. mate of mine got attacked by them a few weeks ago, far more aggressive than europeans
  8. best off avoiding those cheap internet dealers IMO
  9. thats funny...they're not allowed to be selling them online
  10. 2k would buy you an awful lot of adverts on google and would get a far higher click through ratio.
  11. as above...impossible to answer, but if my customers insist on knowing the weight when i quote a price for a 3cm3 load i tell them appriximately 1.5t, which i dont think is far out on average.
  12. thats funny...ironically it goes on at arbtalk too!!!!
  13. snap. i have to be rigging real big stuff before the blocks come out.....mikes rigging was relatively light, particularly with how well the pieces were being controlled
  14. if gcse physics weren't beyond me i'd continute debating with you, but they are so lets just agree that im right:001_smile:
  15. maybe so, but the forces that you are talking about are only coming into play on a static line, whereas clearly mikes groundsman is running the ropes extremely well so the whole point is mute.
  16. theres no need for that mate:thumbdown:
  17. fine here in the promise land
  18. haha well ya gotta wonder. suspicious how when they start cutting things all the video shows is the bar and chain
  19. I'm just experimenting to be honest mate, it wont necessarily stay this way, i may even see if i can find a way for people to make their own settings. Basically, at the end of the day this is an arb forum, and there is a percentage of members....and viewers/potential members, who are put off by the amount of off topic discussions. This is just a way of keeping it in the background for those who wish to partake, but this way it wont be waved in peoples faces everytime they click on unread posts. You can see them in the "todays posts" tab still which should prove just as easy for people who want to check without scrolling down the forums each time.
  20. nah never saw that one mate.....it was thunderbirds for me...and the other one, i forget which one it was.
  21. thats outrageous lol i considered getting one for a mere second till i realized how dangerous it would be having something like that in the house where the kids could get it
  22. well the original reasoning was for the forums to compliment each other but that hasnt worked out, so hopefully a forum within arbtalk will generate a little more interest
