  1. I would have thought the least you could have done was invite me to dinner!!!
  2. Good thread. Try to push yourself out of your comfort zone on a daily basis
  3. Cheers, will have a play tomorrow
  4. fresh fuel yes. I give it plenty pulls believe me! i'll check the plug but failing that will probably have to take it into my local dealer. Changing a bar and chain is about the depth of my mechanical knowledge
  5. haha. Freelance climbers don't have much use for chippers generally, so no sorry
  6. I use it for mostly personal use, its been sitting in the garage all winter. Hasn't been started for probably 6 months. Revs didn't elevate before cutting out.
  7. Same for me. Also the points you need to drill into aren't always how you want them to be, ie to get the optimum angle. You have a fair bit more leeway with cobra in that regard.
  8. Yeah I know Nod, not a lot of choice though, it was part of a site clearance. They are not being potted, we just chucked them in the pots to make it easier to carry them
  9. Beats chainsaw work i'd say! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=235825276783528&id=100010681725275
  10. Yeah I did wonder if it was as simple as that. I know very little about planting, im more of a destructive kinda guy
  11. Not a mower and not a chainsaw so picked this thread at random. Went to start my 4 stroke Stihl brush cutter yesterday, it fired, revved up and then died. Thought I had flooded it so cleaned the spark plug etc, still no joy. Anyway later when I picked it up I noticed it leaking petrol, turns out I hadn't screwed the cap on tight enough. Have i drawn air into the system or something? Still couldn't get it started when I screwed the cap tight. Thanks
  12. Also when lifting them out of the holes I found this underneath. Is it placed beneath the trees with idea of making them easier to transplant at a later date? Or is it just a random but of nothing that happened to be in the ground,
  13. Dug these 2 out today, they stand about 3ft tall. What sort of value would you put on these please?
  14. Busy day chipping 3 days worth of cutting. In the full sun was a killer. Had the timberwolf 230 VTR on the job and it certainly paid for itself.
  15. Killer here, chipping in full sun with no breeze.
  16. I think if they've ordered a pallet load they have obviously considered everything thoroughly and are going to stick with it. Its not exactly a few cans to sample type order is it!
  17. I've found the opposite personally, nothing worse than a gunked up friction hitch, except maybe getting hit by a bus
  18. I remember that thread well, can't believe it was 6 years ago!
  19. Nice little pick up for you Barry, lets hope he sticks with it!
  20. I think that was a bit of a pipe dream
  21. Ingenious Dave, how much you going to be knocking these out for?
