There's an excellent book about living on the moon called 'Steel Beach' by John Varley.

not really into science fiction but after looking at a review it looks like it might be a good read or audiobook..

Yes, I do have a good memory. Why it matters, maybe because you are telling us about a conclusion that "we" came to. Do you think you would get the same reacation if you asked the same questions in a working mans club in the north of England?

It's easy to say "we" all agreed when you are talking about a group of like minded people. The problem comes when you have other people pulling the other way.

So, like, who were you debating with?

I don't know, I've never been in a working man's club in the north of England. Are they generally conservative up there? (I mean in the sociological sense of the word, not the British politics sense)

Hang on a minute. Is this a conversation? I've asked you numerous times who you were debating with...... I never did get an answer. Yet you want me to come up with detail. Come on chap......

I'm not sure that 'interesting' is the word I'd use. It's certainly a viewpoint that's concerning.

Aye, perhaps that wasn't the best word to use.  'Terrifying' would have been closer to my intention, but I thought that may be too reactionary for people to read it.
