Did you see the2 expose style programs?

 

I didn't put much stock behind Soubry attacking MCDonnell on QT last week (except that the venom & vitriol were exceptional - even for her!) but Tim Farrell"s damming references yesterday seemed to offer a measure of confirmation so far as I could see.

 

Then last nights documentaries. Don't suppose it'll make any difference to dyed in the wool Trot's!

An I wouldn't be so bothered about any of it, were it not for the timing.. I sense a spring election coming up and we need a united front against the lunatic fringe of the Tory party...

 

Havin said that, perhaps a coalition of the willing?.. a whisper here a threat there, a cross party alliance of MP's standing up for the sovereignty of Parliament...

I rather like listening to Galloway - not always what he has to say, but without a doubt how he says it. He's definitely on the list of people to have a pint with (along with Boris & Nigel)

John McDonnell promises "at least" £10 minimum wage and says it's no longer necessary to whisper the word socialism.....

 

Just a promise to raise welfare payments and tax the working to fund it and we'll have the reality of new, old Labour!

 

Daily Politics given over to coverage of the Labour conference (where some Labour MPs needed personal security staff), no wonder I fell asleep!

 

On the bright side, at least I banked a nap before the big fight tonight!! 🇺🇸
