But that's hindsight not an option going forward.

I fully agree in hindsight a foolish gamble, but who would have thought so many would buy in to the Corbyn lies and bullshit.

But what's the options now?

It is this sort of arrogance that got the country in the muddle we are today.

People bought into Corbyn's lies and bullshit, as you call it, because they are sick of faux austerity, you know, the austerity measures that only affects some folk, most of them who need it least.

Let's face it, most working folk haven't had a pay rise in years, yet MP's have had a 9% pay rise.

Go figure!

The way forward? I really don't know any more.

What sort of arrogance? There is nothing arrogant about what I said!

The country got in a muddle through failure of the last labour government to save for a rainy day not arrogance! And they were a 'centre-left' government. Consequently just in-case you forgot 'I'm afraid there is no money'.

What effect would Corbyn's extreme left manifesto have on the economy..Go figure!

(IMHO cos I aint that arrogant as to profess otherwise!) Corbyn, MacDonnell (the gullible sheep who vote for him) and their lefty un-costed policies would bring about the bankruptcy of the country.

This 'them and us' poor vs rich socialist bullshit is becoming tedious.

But I do agree with one thing Eggs...Option B...I don't really know either.

Anyone listen to Sturgeon's statement?

I'm baffled how it's possible to speak for so long and still leave me not knowing what it is she's trying to say???

🤔😣☹️😩

Just saw that she's not going to hold a referendum, like she's got a say in the matter anyway?

The Tories got roughly 40 seats more than comrade Corbyn. Not a great result for them, but some people seem to think Corbyn came out on top. He didn't.

I'm no Tory fanatic, and I think somebody could do a better job than May, but I'm struggling to think of anybody who would do a worse job than Corbyn, Watson, Abbott etc.

This country needs strong leadership to battle with the EU bullying buerocrats. Like I say, I don't think May is the best for this job. And if I'm honest, I'm not sure which of the Tory potential leadership candidates would be best, but the left wing alternative would have been a disaster for the country.

I'm sorry Commando, but it's not socialist bullshit, its fact.

Mrs Egg used to get a yearly pay rise if she met her KPI's, blah blah. This would be a percentage of her wage. She would get 3% of that wage. Now they get a yearly bonus so that 3% isn't taken into account. In short she gets less of a pay rise each year.

The company she works for are making more money each year mind.

Agree with this. I don't think anyone else wants the job tbh so got to give her credit for getting on with it

I think the country deserves more respect from it's elected leaders. If they don't want the job they should bugger off and do something else instead.

Mind, May's just spent a billion of public money on keeping her job, so I suspect she's not too keen to move on...
