I know, and that's a sorry state of affairs to be in. It'd be nice if someone had a plan.

Nissan, yesterday said that if there was no access to the customs union and that they had to deal with WTO figures, they'd have to reconsider their situation. Once Nissan go, the North East is (even more) goosed.

No it isn't, its just the reality of trying something new. No one can know exactly how things will pan out, but self belief and some positivity will go a very, very long way, IMO.

My considered opinion is most English people haven't a clue what they voted for...

Oh they knew what they voted against, but not what they voted for...

In the coming months/years, they'll be educated on exactly what they voted for...

Didn't you just tell Jonny walker that you don't deal in opinions, only in facts?????

About 2.6 million cars are sold in the UK each year. The UK only makes about 1.6 million cars a year. That means we have to import a net 1 million cars a year.

If we trade under WTO rules it means imported cars become more expensive....

Is that not absolutedly brilliant for British car workers? I'd imagine Nissan are playing the "make vague threats to get grants game".
