On Twitter and it's referenced in the article I posted. It also relates to Mike's post about them blowing up the hospital as Hamas had bunkers underneath: image.thumb.png.eaa8fd5d7425425ca7b76543e8559882.png

Denials of responsibility and deleted social media posts arouse suspicion around Israel’s view of the attack.

I have tried to keep an open mind about this particular incident as it’s important.

I have looked at what evidence is available, and sifted through sources trying to judge their reliability.

It seems clear to me, mostly by watching the BBC’s reporting it that it (the rocket) originated from Gaza.

I wasn’t aware they had done anything other than issue strong denials of any involvement.
Try Googling the blast and damage patterns of standard Israeli ordinance. Nothing fits the bill. The dive team I’m on at min in Holland has UXO guys on it from Holland,Italy, UK and Poland and none of them reckon the blast pattern is caused by normal precision delivered ordinance.

Perhaps they had their phasers set to 'stun'.

Aye, but why on earth would the IDF or their affiliates claim responsibility?

You'll know more about explosions than I do. Is it possible that you could mimic an amateur explosion with the right skills and kit?

We should also factor in mind that we can't trust any video we see as AI can realistically portray whatever you suggest it should.

I'm not going full on tin-foil over this by the way, you know as well as I do that the media have their own narrative, I think it's prudent to keep an open mind.

I think it’s telling that the most vociferous anti Israeli accounts on Twitter have shut up about this and moved on.

Having an open mind is great. But the truth is the truth.
Finding that out is what we should aspire to, not just muttering about media bias and AI.

Straight after they said "Targeted the hospital because of the bunkers" - words to that effect, then later "didn't do it" and later "Came from within Gaza" - it would appear that they are doing the social media for both sides with this one.

Someone knows where the missile came from, probably lots of someones, since I reckon this is within the top 2 conflicts being studied in detail, in real time, from space and on the ground, from around the world. Someones arn't releasing that information (probably to hide what they can find out), but I reckon someone else has had a bit of a telling off on the telephone.
