Dyslexic HGV Drivers. ;)

But if I put it in your speak, it would be uneducated, thick as shit, fecking idiot. We can easily pick up on faults, if we want to.

Time to back off a little?

I note instead of carrying on our discussion you change tack to attacking a typo. Which means I win. :D

I'll carry on the conversation with you, and well you know it, if you don't spout it. If you choose to carry on I'll pull you up...  Add smilies.

So you agree with me, and the Guardian article that its better for the environment to keep an older car on the road instead of buying a new one?

And you agree its better for the environment to reduce our consumption of junk from around the word, namely China?

I assume you also agree with shopping locally and buying locally made produce?

What exactly do you think you've pulled me up for?

You could just say you where wrong instead of throwing you toys out the pram and picking up a typo.

It's the same argument I use for keeping my older wife. Replacing her with a younger model might seem like an attractive option, but in the end it's much more resource intensive. Perhaps you'd get improved performance, but ultimately you pay for it.

😆

(ps, this post was approved by the editor/censor (ie, my wife) prior to upload - I am sure I have some trousers somewhere, but I sure as hell don't wear them)

People are slightly taken aback when I tell them I have four children and when prompted to tell them their ages and they are all from the same woman. :D

Good to know Im helping the environment in keeping her along for the ride. And when I say environment I mean the one at home. :D

Let's face it, if Trump hadn't  have shouted his mouth off so much he'd still be in power... Time and place for everything.

not really. There are some oddities about the election result, the media pretty much working for the dems for free etc

Every single large city in USA is a murder hellhole. Common factor they all run by Dems.

Same as labour over here, clueless wokesters watching the world burn as long as the safe spaces are ok.

socialism should be a proscribed subject at school to the kids can be educated out of it rather than the other way round.

Hitler was a socialist remember.

I see your logic there J 😂

To expand upon your wife analogy....  Might I add a boiler analogy?

No sense swapping out an old boiler for a more energy efficient new tech / renewable one - unless - the old boiler is knackered and near the end of its useful life already.

But, if you have to swap it out as a matter of course due to unserviceability, inefficiency and general cantankerousness, then a newer, younger, more efficient and generally more pleasing model makes absolute sense and will look after you for many happy years

Just for absolute clarity, I am referring to the move from a crusty old oil boiler to a newer model pellet biomass boiler rather than my own historic marital status which, whilst bearing some comparable similarities, is entirely coincidental 😂

The pellet boiler has provided 10 years loyal service so far, has provided for my domestic heating and hot water needs at a significantly lower financial demand, is kinder to the environment and has more than covered it’s installation and annual running costs through the RHI scheme. All of which pleases me greatly!

The wife, of 13 years, (and 13 years my junior) has many similar qualities - like I say though - purely coincidental 😂
