perhaps they should stop selling them to wealthy outsiders then !!!     must be loads of cornish with a lot of money after selling their house and just blow all their money at Trago Mills !!😂

I’m just back from doing a quick job at a ‘blow-ins’ new house. He said exactly the same. Sold his swanky Cotswolds des-res with a punishing mortgage and downsized to a reasonably tidy cash bought 2 bedroom bungalow with enough money left in the bank to retire in comfort and have us build him a garden workshop so that he can tinker with his retirement hobby of custom fit rifle stocks. 
 

Nobody gotta sell to anyone they don’t want to....

 Same "problem " in Devon .....I am considering selling up and moving some where cheap (ish ) and having even more spare cash to retire early ...big decision though and the bridge will be burnt .... hard to come back if it does not work out !!!    On the plus side the incomers do require services that help trades etc ...

I use a motorbike quite a lot so no real problem , apart from having to clean it too often ...mud , horse shit , puddles etc 😅
