Given your statement; "" I’m no Doctor or expert"",
How can you state with such utter conviction that; ""this rollercoaster of lockdowns is helping no one in any way shape or form.""?

Since you're not a doctor or an expert, how do you suggest that we tackle the current crisis happening in this country if we don't use another strict national Lockdown? (The is obviously based on the assumption that you've actually seen maybe a very small mention somewhere on your favoured non MSM news sources of what's really happening in our hospitals.)
Sorry, I'm not being quite fair there. I should add that my second question is addressed not just to yourself, but also to anyone else in your select club of Anti-Lockdowners.

The exact quote by mr cropper was who the **************** do you think you are, for which I’m still waiting for him to give me the explanation of where I said the things he reacted too, let’s not argue ****************s here and ****************s there his outburst was out of line. You seem to like the word stupid along with clown which somewhat backfired a bit. Not sure if this is a word you use often at people whom have a different view to you but there are several on here and many more outside of the forum that totally disagree with the lockdown method of dealing with this. Does it reduce infections on a temp basis yes of course it does but at what overall social, economic, health both mental and physical cost and is it sustainable, and invariably the rollercoaster starts again as soon as the lockdown ends. the talk of a 3rd national lockdown would say that the previous 2 have not been enough, Wales has had this lockdown medicine more than anywhere in UK and what has it achieved??. A year into this and we are still being fed the same line to justify it. Andy for example quotes Norway it has had a totally different approach as have others, does that make them stupid !!.  By the way take a look at UK government statistics for average life span, average covid death age and where we are numbers wise for deaths this year/winter as opposed to the previous twenty  you might be very surprised. Although it may not suit the narrative you subscribe too. End of the day as I’ve stated full on debate is fine but whilst I don’t give a flying **************** in reality about you or mr cropper and what you think, you both hit the keyboard buttons hard yesterday based upon nothing more than  me having a different opinion to you both.

""I don’t give a flying **************** in reality about you or mr cropper and what you think,""

Your now numerous responses and references to this would suggest otherwise ................

This is your favoured tactic which we have covered many times before ie keep asking for explanations and throwing in a a load of questions. My news sources are variable. Without wasting my morning in this Big J has written on several occasions about targeting the protective measure at the vulnerable and at risk groups  etc it’s that form of action I think should be taken. To put it another way tell me why you think Lockdowns are the  only answer. Bearing in mind the other fallout they cause.

That was from the last post I’ve just put up, am I not allowed to ask for an explanation when I’ve been accused of saying something I blatantly did not. Same as if you are called stupid or the word clown is thrown in to the mix, if you have to resort to insults then who in reality is the stupid one ??.
The comments ref select club lol, it’s not as exclusive as you think.

The lockdowns have got us to point where we are now rolling out the vaccine, without the NHS imploding. You accept the infection rated fall during the lockdowns, so in what way are they not working?

Perhaps if less people railed against them, online and elsewhere, there would be far less flouting of the rules. We all know that vast numbers fail to adhere to the lockdowns, yet they do still reduce infections. Imagine how affective they may have been if people had got behind them willingly and strictly followed the rules and advice.

You weren't actually called stupid, just as no one told you to "go ********* yourself"

When it comes to it, this was your response to Cropper's explanation of how his wife suffered and continues to suffer with the after effects of having Covid:

"I keep hearing these examples on this Forum of this fit one and that healthy one who had it and are still floored by it etc etc , whilst I’m not deriding people’s own experience   or saying this is not the case this is most certainly not my experience or the experience of those who have had it that I know. There are some on here claiming to know literally  dozens of people whom have had the virus and it’s invariably a horror story. Big J quotes confirmed statistics. The  symptomatic people I know young and old described either very little or moderate to bad Flu like symptoms 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️I’m no Doctor or expert but this rollercoaster of lockdowns is helping no one in any way shape or form. "

Despite saying "whilst I’m not deriding people’s own experience   or saying this is not the case" What followed looked as if you were saying "but i don't believe you and it sounds like it's all made up because it's not what I've seen or heard first hand from people that I know." You then went on to tell say that lockdowns aren''t helping despite someone having seen first hand the serious negative effects of Covid in his wife which may be prevented in other people through the use of the lockdown policies.

Unfortunately this row that has now gone on for 10 pages  because you said something that came across (most likely unintentionally) as dismissing another's traumatic personal experiences as unimportant in the greater scheme of things, then you got offended by his response.

What it really needs is for both of you to sit down in a room with a teacher (socially distanced of course and probably wearing masks!), explain what has upset you about the other's behaviour,  say sorry for upsetting each other and shake hands nicely without trying to break each other's knuckles (after using hand sanitiser or washing with soap for 20 seconds!)😜
