Direct action = direct response

Dry yr eyes and man up. Action/Reaction

He over reacted in the moment, haven't we all at some time. But we're not all Government Ministers, and he should have acted accordingly. I think he knows that.

He may have gone to far but

Are we forgetting what happened to Jo Cox a short while back?

Aggravated trespass.- reasonable force.

The ‘task’ should not have fallen to him, but it did.

Im sympathetic to the environmental cause but taking ‘direct action’ and then crying like a beeee-ach when it results in reciprocated direct action simply illustrates the self entitled, do as I say not as I do, whiny, pathetic attitude of such people.

There are a few SJWs complaining (the usual suspects), but the overwhelming public response appears to be supportive. My only criticism is the apology.

You've fallen into the trap me old scrambled egg!

It shouldn't matter who he is or what he stands for...

There are those amongst us that have overtly delighted in the violent action of casting a milk shake over a serving MEP and prominent public figure.  They are 'likely' the same cohort that (quite rightly) expressed horror at the murder of a serving MP, or outrage at the poorly judged comments obliquely referencing rape as a measure of a female MP's desirability.

Here in lies the hypocrisy which was previously referenced (and apparently wholly misinterpreted.)

Having a set of 'standards' which can so easily be discarded - dependent upon the political leanings of subject / victim / perp - is the very epitome of hypocrisy...  At least it is by my moral 🧭

I haven't fallen into any trap, I was joking.

You know me well enough to realise the very hypocrisy you speak of gets right on my wick.
