The 'opposition' are very much Tories in red ties.

If the government changes, but the frustrations many voters feel stay the same, what then?

Old knee taker might get just realise it ain’t as easy as it looks Mark, always tempting to sit back and criticise but when the buck stops at you it’s totally different. Nothing Labour or any of the other opposition parties are saying looks to have any real connection to the problems your typical working class family  is encountering. Labour in particular seem more concerned with various vocal minority groups than anything else.

We'd do well to follow the example set by the Ancient Greeks, of how to keep narcissists like Boris Johnson and Donald Trump out of positions of power.

Those who seek power for the sake of power are less attracted to high office when more people get a say.

Interesting article.

I'd say it's worth a shot, it couldn't be any worse really!

Exactly. Almost anything is worth a shot at the moment.

I can't see the massive assemblies of 6000 people minimum happening in person but that could happen easily enough online/remotely, (security or fraud issues aside obvs).

The sheer level of shortsighted ignorance on display with your comment is astounding. Well done.
