A Trump insider and longtime friend of Charlie Kirk tells The Grayzone how the assassinated conservative leader’s turning point on Israeli influence provoked a private backlash from...

I wasn't impressed by Charlie Kirk's performance at the Oxford Union - too much up Trump's arse. And that bit in support of the Jan 6 mob.

However that snippet in the link you posted where he's talking to Ben Shapiro shows Kirk in a different light - in that one as he asked about ethnic cleansing claims in Gaza you could see he was obviously a supporter of Israel, but not someone who felt Israel should just be allowed to do anything in Gaza.

Maybe the wealthy jewish donors were trying to use him as a mouthpiece, and he was pushing back.

Increasing polarisation and a lack of measured debate is fuelling violence in a nation awash with guns.

and yet I possess a strong moral compass and principles.

That's debatable

if insults are 1 to 10 with 1 harmless and 10 the worst, maybe that can be given a score of 6.5

Reading this, I would tend to agree with the conclusion - should be rejecting violence as an answer - noting that the previous 3 or 4 presidents set out statements this week condoning the attack, imploring this sentiment - the current presidents tone was very very different - he thrives on divisive politics, 'Us vs Them' works well for him but pushes the extremes both ways.. and the further apart the left and right become then more people will decide that direct action such as this is the only solution.

No, divisive politics doesn't work... and instead should be working together to go for a common goal that is not "they are bad, they support the opposing party", but perhaps "we are all people, lets all be the best people that we can".

Politicians should shut the fck up. Politics is statehood which is violence. Don't pay your TV licence. Ignore the court process. Fight the coppers who come to cage you. They'll eventually shoot you if you fight back hard enough. Politicians are fine with political violence as long as it isn't directed at them.

Fairly scored I feel. This on the other hand was disappointing; 2.5 at best I feel.
