Not sure about it being the end, the question people seem to ignore is who would replace him and that's slim pickings.

Would it be a disposable temporary replacement or an actual conservative.

As the current names read like a suicide note for the conservatives, personally if they are going to take charge and return to Tory values Lord Frost wouldn't be a bad choice

Circling the drain? He's been in there from day one.
But yeah, it's the beginning of the end. Hopefully.

Whom would you pick as a replacement??. The media have been like vultures after him for a long time now. Yeah he’s made some hellish gaffs and no doubt he’s a typical  Uk lying politician but at  least he had the balls to ditch the covid restrictions whenever the opportunity arose and let people get on with their lives, whilst every opposition party screamed for retaining or extending them. I look forward to the day when Labour gets back in “ which they will as the political merry go round does it’s thing” only to watch the disappointment of those whom believe that getting the tories out is the answer to all problems. As the song said “ things can only get better” those whom remember the last Labour attempt at government know that didn’t quite work out like that.

He won a clear majority and had a mandate to do stuff.

Turns out everything his enemies (and there were plenty of them) said about him was right.

Off you toddle Boris.

My long dead childhood pet dog.

There's more to being a prime minister than Covid restrictions, it's a bit more involved. Just saying like.

How about for a complete and utter laugh, deputise the useless solitary green party MP.

But, whoever gets the position will be tainted until either the next election or a better choice of leader.

The last two years what has been the utterly dominant factor in everyday existence?? what is the current vote of confidence issue over ?? to just make a flippant remark like that is missing the whole point.   Let’s face it yourself and many others clamoured for restrictions and actions which with hindsight or not depending on how you view it have utterly wrecked the economy and saddled the country with astronomical debt, in my eyes those like yourself shoulder a large part of the blame as to what was allowed to pass unchallenged as governance. Any government in power at the time was damned either way. Of course there’s more to it but in reality when it comes to political types lying is to be expected sadly.
