We have some of the strictest firearms laws of any developed nation. Good reason to possess, medical checks, probationary periods etc etc in all honesty it’s easier to get a firearm illegally than legally in the UK.

You ask about probationary periods yet quote target shooting as a good reason ?? Anyone whom joins a Home office approved club needs to go through a probationary period regardless of previous experience. Dear oh dear mull. I’ve been an FAC holder for over 25yrs I’m currently going through my sixth renewal process. I also hold my SGC and the bullshit Scot gov air weapons cert.
