It's a Dutch Barge built in 1922 and converted to look, very roughly, like a paddle steamer in the 1990's. If you look closely you can see the conventional prop in her last seconds. Looking at the last picture I would have thought there would have been time to get pumps onboard, that's only from the pictures mind. I'm not a lumpy water person though.

I think the authorities have made a mistake with their treatment of TR and the banning order raises more questions about the motives of the police/judiciary.

Regardless of what one may think of TR's views (and I don't think he is as extreme as he is painted in the media) he has been failed by the police who appear to shrug their shoulders and do nothing when he is threatened/assaulted but when he highlights yet another grooming trial he is carted away.

I have recently finished a spell on jury service and there were dozens of cameras outside court, seems there is one rule for some and another rule for others.

 

For those that think TR has got what he deserved, I reproduce below Niemoller's poem which seems just as apt today as it did when written.

We live in dangerous times and I think there is a real chance of civil unrest because of the disconnect between politicians and the electorate.  A cynic may suggest that this is the real reason why the EU wants its own army,  not to protect against outside forces but to suppress dissent within.

The problem with "Tommy Robinson" is that he's shot himself in the foot with this one.

 

Nonces of any creed or colour should be his target.  Not just the Asian ones.

 

It's nothing to do with freedom of speech.

 

He was on a suspended sentence for doing exectly what he was just nicked for. Hence the near immediate Contempt of Court hearing that sent him to jail to serve the suspended sentence.  He's potentially created a situation that will allow the nonces to call for a mistrial.

 

Tommy Robinson doesn't give a fuck about the victims of these crimes.  If he did he wouldn't jeopardise the outcome of the trials for his own fame game.

I'm still spitting feathers about this..   and we should be looking into fking those D.notices off as well..  they're to do with national security, not about jailing journalists..  

 

and yes Tommy is a journalist these days..

Absolute bollocks!

 

It goes without saying that pervs of any description should be targeted but Muslims have gotten kid glove treatment due to their massive sensitivity and minority status. 

 

When 4% of the population are committing 80+% of a type of crime, that being probably the worst of all, you know, raping children, then it needs to be fucking reported by someone, anyone.. I'll take Tommy, seen as that was my only option on the day. I bloody thank him for it.

 

What also needs to be reported is that this is NOT about race. This is about religion. Not a single child was a Muslim, yet the perpetrators were nearly all Muslim. Why? Because it's OK to rape non Muslims as long as your pray to Mecca afterwards. The Catholic priest pedo's weren't specifically targeting non Catholics ffs. 

 

This is a serious issue and it needs air time, in any manner possible. 

 

I'm glad this has blown up. approaching 500,000 signatures now to petition for his release. Government must be shitting it. And they should! I'm disgusted with the continuous double standard.

 

Just to belabour the point.. 10s OF THOUSANDS OF NON MUSLIM CHILDREN HAVE BEEN AND ARE BEING RAPED AND TORTURED BY MUSLIMS AND IT HAS BEEN SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET BY THE GOVERNMENT AND MSM. There is something wrong with your head!
