Not quite a tractor, but nearly and another candidate for the Jubilee celebrations

Land Rover Sandringham 6   Rover 3.5 V8  16 speed gearbox, electro hydraulic tipper and crane but 6x6 is not invincible on our heavy clay.  Nearly new off road tyres soon became slicks, level ground and not bottomed out

Did work years ago clearing scrub at a brick makes that had their own pit which they dug clay from it was mad trying to stand on your feet some days if it rained.

Not mine but came across them on my travels last week, thought they would be of interest to some of us, County 1184 long chassis 1979 on a V plate which I think could be a rare tractor ? Plenty of standard/short 1184 s but not many long ones, second photo International 955 1978 on a T plate, 4wd 6 Potter and had a reputation fir being a good reliable tractor with plenty of grunt,

This is my friend Didier who is an engineer and Massey enthusiast who bought a wreck and restored it to concours condition.

He sometimes brings it to our jobs to collect the wood but today he was loading my Iveco with oak to take to his yard.

He complains bitterly about the Solis. The lack of power, the crunchy gears, inconvenient layout but is often found in the seat whenever we need a hand moving logs at the end of the day.

Yep i would have em as well, the 955 would be first choice over the 956, but that County would be sweet but the rarity value puts it out of my reach, I better stick to my Kubota and 780 brown,,

Super set up. How do you find travelling on bumpy roads? Have a T213 with a Kesla 304T on a Jake mount pulling a Heizo 14-800K and she's rough enough on bad roads. Must increase the weights on front linkage and I might try bigger tyres in the future.
