For once, I agree with one of your comments Vespasian. I try not to eat bread at all and save it for a treat and I defiantly try not to pig out at lunch.

 

I don't 'do' bread either.

 

I have them tortilla type wraps.

 

Lighter than bread, so no sleep needed after lunch time meal....

I've taken to eating Pita bread of late, toast em in the oven add bacon, salami and a bit of salad, covered in a dressing of choice, lovely..

As a change from sarnies I took a tin of mackerel in mustard sauce with some bread and butter today, other half does a good line in quiches, not the girly afternoon tea type, chorizo one is a favourite, although the all time winner was when we had some left over fry up stuff from the weekend so she made me one with bacon, sausage, black pudding and mushrooms made my arteries twitch just looking at it, but it was good :)
