the lack of petrol engine noise is an obvious advantage to the climber in the tree but do people find the lack of noise means that the groundie is in the way more and at a higher risk??

i havent used a battery saw or worked alongside one so just curious.

thanks carl

You would think so wouldnt you,its common sense...yet i still get ***** walkin in to the drop zone without lookin up or askin if its ok to do so.With the battery saw it isnt completely silent but its difficult to hear over a chipper or a ground saw at an idle never mind full pelt

There are many benefits to workng with these saws...Silence is one...and with that also comes a very relaxed and peaceful working enviroment.Happy climber and groundies able to converse and work ultra safe.

Until you turn the chipper on?!
