You get what you pay for, why do you think most good climbers go on their own, either starting their own Co, or becoming a subbie.

 

Last job I was employed as was around 12 years ago(guess). Bricklayer/groundworker £150 a day. I left and went on my own for more money.

Now you've brought it up I was on £150/night in 1996 breaking out cats eyes with a breaker and Tracair in front of the Planer, not exactly skilled work.

If what you are doing is "incredibly dangerous" you need to take a look at what you are doing
