Why do people think we should command more money than doctors?

It's only at the really top end of arb that it changes, doing stuff like Reg and August most days.

We choose to do it.

If the money is better elsewhere, go elsewhere.

I would love to see the industry being more valued, but it isn't likely to happen.

People get really excited about tree work and I've no idea why.

It's easy, basically anyone with 50% of a functioning brain can do 90% of the work and the cream, who are really good or smart rise to the top.

Same as every other industry. There are many analogies I could use but a London escort does not charge the same as a crack whore from the back streets. Yet, is the end result not the same?

That's a much better analogy than waitrose compared to lidl, I'll use it next time a customer takes a sharp intake of breath when I tell em the price!

Wages should be more ,they are the same as they were 20 years ago unfortunately there are plenty of have a go gardeners who will do it for beer tokens with there mate whilst having no idea of the best industry guidelines and practices and doing us all a massive favour boosting accident statistics then making it harder for every one else trying to run a legitimate business with more rules and regulations being applied as a direct result.

More training, more insurance it's hard for bosses to keep wages what they should be I guess...
