No Eggs . He has done it before . 99% of the time he was an absolute diamond but then the other 1% was like a switch is flicked and he goes metal and then he is back to normal again . I think he had some wires crossed up stairs . I have had 8 working Cockers both dogs and bitches over the years and as a worker he has been the best but as a pet in the house he had become untrustworthy . So sad . Its him in my avatar .

Sad to hear that, had a working cocker which was the same as you say alright 99% of the time and then would switch glad you decide to do the right thing. I left it a bit to late and he ripped a lump out of our Lab and then started to have a go at me. Vet recons tumor on part of brain.

All seeming to be well I put in the gob, I was just starting the back cut and heard some cracking, I dumped the saw and hightailed it out of there, in exactly the spot I was this branch landed with a thump. More tension than was needed it seems!

Not as bad as new clutch, duel mass conversation, front brakes and a few little odd N sods on landy cherrypicker which is going to hurt in the region of 1500 but at least she drives and stops a lot better and was out working and earning again today.

Been a bit of day all things considered, started off with a phone call saying the dog had killed a sheep on the next field.,. went to collect it. my nephew's comin over as I put the collar on.. said he was gettin his shotgun and he was gonna kill it....

 

Told him he isn't and how does he know its our dog that did it, said a woman had come running down the track to tell him a sheep dog and another dog had killed some sheep...

 

As he's tellin me all this I have the owner's daughter shouting obscenities in my ear about dogs not being chained up when they should be and how we're not fit to have a dog amongst other accusations she's been nursing for some time....

 

I took the dog, locked it in the shed and went off to do a few jobs why I worked out what to do...

Found myself doin the job I'd been putting off on account I'd smashed two of this customers windows in the past month or so, managed to finish that without further incidence.. then the other job I'd been putting off, a paddock near the window job..

 

Turns out it now looks like a hayfield and she's had half a ton of stone dropped off and spread alongside some of the grass verges.... Look, any of that crap gets hit with this strimmer an it smashes any of those car windows and its tough, I've paid out enough money for windows round these parts and I ain't payin out any more....

 

Things went better after that but I didn't fancy the trip back home, half expecting to get back and find a kicked in shed door, and a dead dog lyin on the shed floor..

 

Dog was still there, no kicked in door all seems unusually quiet... for how long thats gonna last livin in this madhouse is anyone's guess..

Had a nice commute to the cutting site today and even took out a nasty rotten multi stem willow.
