Cut and split the last of the soft wood for this year on Thursday.

 

'Was', going to start on the hardwood, but you can't get near the pile now due to all the rain we've had, it's like a bog between the access track and the logs....

 

So instead, he's gone and bought in some bard dried / barn stored hardwood form another farmer friend....

16 cube of hardwood for a fresh batch in the kiln. Felt the chain going a little slower only by the last 3 or 4 cube which isn't too bad i don't think!
