How many people work in inclement weather? I know some jobs are doable but others...scratting about up a piss wet through tree in wind and rain ain't my idea of fun! You ruin gardens dragging brash and cant clear up properly. Do other people feel the same of am I just getting soft:001_smile:

I avoid really bad weather if possible, the important thing is that it continues to rain during the day, nothing worse than putting the phone down and then the sun comes out.

My stock line to clients is "the trees been there for a hundred years, it can wait another couple of weeks"

ha ha funny , its a wet day today and I've just phoned my assistant to say todays job on hold . BUT what do you do with your staff ,

pay them to stay at home ,

zero hours ( no work / no pay ) ,

workshop duties ( there is a limit to available indoor work ) .

It's nice to have a few gutty ground jobs to drop onto when the weathers rough, so it pays to keep a couple up your sleeve if you can.

No point attempting a euc rj with a day's money on it though.

The problem at the minute is people not wanting us in their waterlogged gardens, and who can blame them?

I only employ one person so we will do some workshop stuff this morning, then he can go home.
