That sounds about right, a bulker 2x2x20m would be 40cube.

A bulker 2x2x20 would be 80 cube according to my arithmetic - either way that is the volume of the wagon and even split logs will not stow better than 50% in my experience.

I don't know the dimensions of a bulker wagon since we have never used them but don't believe they go up to 20m.

cheers

mac

i recon,

26.6t load @ £1000..

1.3t on transit tipper green split logs..

transit tipper = 4 builders bags (0.5m3)..= 2m3

26.6/1.3 =20..

20x2 = 40m3..

so i recon 40m3 is a good guesstemate..

=80 builders bags @ £55 bag =£4400..

so you could quadrouple your money....???

Quadruple your money always sounds good until you work out your costs and then you feel like you have earnt every penny

exactly what i was thinking.

you are telling me on this thread between 30 and 40 cube to a load so that would mean a cube before i process it would cost me between 32.50 euro and 43.50. put processing costs on top of that (ive been quoted 250 euro a day and it would take 2 and a half days) which would bring the price of a cube up to between 48 euro and 64 euro. this is before i factor delivery costs and time so from what i see there might be something in it but nothing as tasty as quadrupleing my money....

Thank you all for your input
