Firemen losing to a tree

how many times was I wrong?...

 

 

and why are a bunch of firemen chopping down a tree?... did some numpty think by phoning them, they could save some money?..

 

and why did some moron think it a good idea to film the firemen at work and put it up to get a cheap laugh?..

 

Be nice if I found out the idiot responsible found himself in a car wreck and the firemen turned up and chopped him out with lang handled axes...

Sorry Jon, got to disagree with you. You are too nice and those fireman were laughable. Painful to watch. If an all singing all dancing arb crew turned up I'll bet Fireman Sam would say "sorry mate we've got this under control; we can't allow anyone near the tree blah blah blah".

It was almost painful to watch. But to be fair, I've little or no knowledge of how to safely remove a trapped passenger from a mangled vehicle. I couldn't extinguish a burning building. I've never stood on a mountain for a day and or night, surrounded by flames & smoke, after some idiot with a match thought a fire would be fun.

 

They cant train for every eventuality. And while they wasted energy and time on a simple fell. The person who decided that the time of a highly trained fire crew, would be best utilised in such an endeavour, instead of contacting a local tree firm, is the real plonker.
