Life span of Meindel Airstreams

Just wondering how long people have them for before you find them too knackered to wear, had mine about 18months wear them daily and the soles have had it now. They say they can be refurbed but I think this would be more walking boots where the upper parts stay quite intact, my airstreams are rough all over!

My last pair lasted about 3 years...never leaked and felt like slippers although they were almost like slicks on the sole...

Two years out my last pair , pretty rough at the end up , still the best IMO .

Had two pairs now. First I had 3 and abit years, my present ones I've had 10/11 months and looking to replace them soon!

They start to die the day they come out of the box, usually 12 mths theyre not looking good and uts nice to try and get them to 18months lol

Never had a pair ( got Pfanner Zermatts ) but I seem to recall a lot of posts by people saying their first pair lasted a lot longer than their second . Maybe the quality has dropped off for some reason ?

Had the pairs now, seem to last a year fine, most make it to 18 months but very rough by then, starting to leak on very wet days. Comfy til the end though :-)

This appears to be the case with most boots! My first pair of Andrew boots were awesome lasted nearly two years, I've had em resoled n they're going again but bought second pair while others were being repaired and they're looking tired after 6 months.😟

Great boots 18 months max lifespan but get a very hard life!!
