Who's in the clique?

it's not possible to name them as could be construed as insulting and worth more infraction points but if you want to read some of the old posts you can find numerous cases of people being insulted and differing degrees of bad language.

There used to be loads of good info on here a couple of years ago and lots of good light hearted banter. It's not as free flowing as it was which is a shame and probably why you don't see people on here that used to post regularly on other forums more often now. That's not meant to upset any body but it seems a good opportunity to take peoples woes on board.

It's impossible for mods to get every single little swear word or disagreement, people forget mods do this voluntary in their own time, they have there own work and families. I think compaired to other forums they are doing a great job. If you don't like what people have said send a pm or press the report button simples.

Listen mate, I've been where you are.

Fell out with Huck almost immediately after a post I made, which looking back was alcohol fuelled rubbish, and he put me straight.

Met him since and you couldn't meet a more friendly and giving bloke, on the beer or off it.

Swearing.

We're tree men, and talk gets rough.

Course it does when we're chatting to each other.

It took me ages to realise the reason Arbtalk has a no swearing policy is that the world is watching. Literally.

So many Google searches lead back to Arbtalk threads.

So if Mrs. Miggins from Tunbridge Wells searches 'logs for wood-burner, she doesn't necessarily want to hear premier league swearing, especially from my Northumbrian potty mouth.

Take a deep breath, get yourself a cold beer or glass of wine, read the rules and make your mind up.

If it wasn't for Arbtalk I'd have had to pack in tree work, that's how valuable it is.

Your choice mate.

Make the right one.
