Just had this chat tonight. The same week they announce the odds of winning tripling to 45000000-1 is a week when there was a draw for a quadruple rollover! So how often is it going to be won now. Judging by this thread and my own thoughts ticket sales and therefore jackpots will actually be lower. Seems like a huge mistake to me

Sadly from day one, at their odds, i never bought a lottery ticket,and i wouldnt know anything about lucky dips, but now the odds are even more outlandish,you may as well draw a fiver out of your wallet and wipe your ar*e with it.

Well today's the day that your odds of winning the jackpot plummet from the exciting ( almost a certainty ) 1 in 14,000,000 to 1 in 45,000,000 of winning the jackpot. Looks like it's going to be carry on chopping and sawing

I have always thought it a fix, especially when they say in their ad, guaranteed 5 new millionaires this week.

I occasionally buy a lucky dip, maybe a ticket a month , but I have been awarded building contracts twice which were purely funded by the lottery good causes fund. So I don't mind giving a little bit back. Some of the causes they support wouldn't get funding elsewhere.
