Let's just talk about who's the best climber that's got to more interesting than our back problems, jeeeeeez! I vote me!

We'll talk about what we want thanks. We've got Mr Bullman and the Mods to kick us into touch, if needs be.

Back problems are generally caused by lifting things, if your fit and strong you should not really have major issues from carrying your own frame around a tree, IMO.

Year before last I had back problems, nothing horrendous, but a nasty ache like tooth ache in my left side. After 18 months I went for an MRI, my back is in good shape for a 45 year old, thats after 20 years of climbing.

Fortunately my back has now settled down and is giving me no issues, as they say "Time is a great healer" :thumbup1:

Agree with all that mate, I'm having bad problems with my right elbow joint at the minute! But with the right treatment it's easing. Was also diagnosed with arthritis in my right wrist last year but since having steroid injections it's been quite pleasant.

It's all about keeping on top of things and nipping niggles in the butt! Before they seriously do harm.

Anyway the threads looking good, happy with the way it's turning out :)

Backs are not made for lifting, glutes and legs are.

Keep flexible and lift like your squatting!

I am not a free lance climber, like Huck and many others we are climbers who drive and drag brash, operate machines and quote while the rest go home.

running the job and our business and family from up the tree answering calls and organising everything between cuts.

If a big bit comes down, not facing the right way, it's no accident, we are keeping you busy so we can do some calls😀

Now someone tells me after buying a skid steer and hiab. ;)

Yeah, waste of money.

I had three lads on the ground today dragging 100m+ to the chipper. I bet they aren't jealous of your setup at all!
