Backs are not made for lifting, glutes and legs are.

Keep flexible and lift like your squatting!

I am not a free lance climber, like Huck and many others we are climbers who drive and drag brash, operate machines and quote while the rest go home.

running the job and our business and family from up the tree answering calls and organising everything between cuts.

If a big bit comes down, not facing the right way, it's no accident, we are keeping you busy so we can do some calls😀

 

 

Excellent post Steve, I can relate to that. Wish I'd taken up climbing earlier in life though... Got diagnosed with arthritis two years ago. Keep it at bay by going to circuit training class once a week.

The key to continuity on my part was to make money for people....and take away their own confidence in their ability.

 

I've grown tired of salvaging underbid and poorly negotiated jobs; of hearing how hard it all is to run a full tree service.

Your first quote implies you're manipulating the contractor into believing they don't have the ability or never will have the ability to do the job themselves, thereby creating the illusion they need to use your services.

 

Your second quote implies you actually believed the contractor when they told you their sob stories of how underbid the job was and how hard it was to run a tree service thereby you fell for the illusion that the contractor was struggling financially so he couldn't pay you any more money than you could negotiate.

 

Either way, it seems the people you've been working are either A - extremely gullible or B - very smart businessmen.

Since I started climbing and doing circuit training (tabata) it's all but disappeared :) I've found that keeping mobile is the key.

I did try knee injections of hydrocortisone and anti inflammatories but they just masked it.

Benn, do the tabata workout with a sledge hammer and a tractor tyre.

 

4 min warm up

20 seconds all out 10 second recovery.

 

8 sets

 

4 minute cool down.

 

A whole workout done in 12 minutes that has been scientifically proven to increase anaerobic capacity, strength, speed and vo2 max. This type of workout is pretty special as it will benefit sprinters, weigh lifters and marathon runners. A pure anaerobic workout that increase aerobic capacity...?

 

Go figure! But it works.
