This aging Silver Back, was contemplating something a member said a while back "Use it or lose it" sommit along those lines, when I thought - best drag on the 'motion and get me spreadin wasteline back up where I once enjoyed Gibbon like aspirations.

 

Boy was I rusty :blushing:

 

Nothing particularly flash going on, although I'm liking the Howard hitch & micro pulley :001_tt1:

 

First shot was one of the team making safe the tear out yesterday.

The rest are yours truly in action whilst all along thinking; "wish I'd brought the bloomin MEWP out" :scared1:

 

Didn't fell the Tree Stevie :sneaky2:, as were leaving it as a Monnard which will be re-pollarded on cycle.

well done dave, now a man of your experience and stature should have a 046 up there, thump thump thumpity thump. leave the top handles for the newby zoros, i spotted that rip, long limbs on willow are chewy, you want to get through that fast my elderly friend. good job, have you made up any other names for topping recently or just that one, if you want i could hold a master class in pole pruning at justins. save you a whole lot of sweating my friend:001_smile:
