Feel your pain Andy.

Best one here was a slate roofed double bay garage directly underneath a biggish willow to take down.

If it had been my job I would have walked, or at least renegotiated the price.

As it was my old gaffer made very little on that one.

Been there too

Now got it in my t & c that any changes in access or site layout since quoting WILL require a renegotiation in price.

Me too, but nothing as extravagant as a wall & hot tub, just a shed but got the customer to sign a disclaimer detailing we would not be responsible for any damage that may occur.

I have had a client accept a job and starting date, the morning of the job we turned up, gates shut, could tell the client was in, no answer on the phone either. She must have just changed her mind. Luckily I had something nearby.
