I'd be having words with the lads about a bit of equipment respect, I know stuff sometimes happens but can often be avoided with a little thought.

Sift through loose rakings or just chuck em straight into the back of the truck...especially on building sites...too many metallic foreign bodys etc....must have exited the chute like a ninja star!

Ongoing problem with the well it ain't mine so I don't care mentality of some towards machines with some lads, I had 1 and he didn't stop long!!

Straight in the back for me, 5 extra steps and is quicker than sifting through stuff. If there's a load put it in a tonne bag and throw it on the back.

I think it must be a job requirement where I do work.

i would be going mad if people treated my kit like that.

 

I broke a tractor door this year, strimmer put a stone through it - i was gutted and felt sooo bad, boss could see it and no more said.

 

its going to bug me for long time. so hammering a machine like that i would expect to be fired!

Transit timing chain let go, not a noisy one either :thumbdown: Did not have time to mess about so stuck in a second hand engine and box.

Just snapped, cant see a reason for it because nothing is siezed.

Pilot bearing had chewed up the input shaft of the gearbox, its the second one we have had like this. Worth changing when you do a clutch.
