Please tell me why you think great wealth trickles down, coz from what I've read not even the wealthiest capatilsts think it does.

I don't think I said that all Muslims hate every other culture/ religion... but it is common knowledge that Islam does cause more than it's fair share of problems.. has anyone ever seen Hindu/ Jewish/ Sikh Terrorism in the UK?

You really think we should open our doors to everyone that "respects our culture and way of life"? People in this country are getting their benefits cut so that the government can give benefits to immigrants. Why should Brits be denied medical treatment so immigrants can get medical treatment?

 

 

There's too many people in this country sitting on Their bums doing nowt getting too much money in benefits I think we should be promoting work for all. Not sitting on benefits.

It should be a safety net not a lifestyle

I think wealth trickles down because I've experienced it trickle down to me! Not great wealth but a little something because someone better off than I helped me out. I know that capitalism suggests otherwise. Someone with money giving to charity is the simplest example to the contrary I can think of.

Wealth does trickle down, Fact. You can't live the millionaire lifestyle without spending loads of cash. For example I have one client who has spent maybe £15k on his trees over the years. There are factories in the Hebrides making tweed, who buys that? not nurses and social workers.

When you are mega rich you have everything done for you, thousands of businesses are dedicated to looking after the needs and wants of the rich, these people take the money off the rich and then they pay tax on it, we all benefit. I have had a handful of mega rich clients and I have made more from them than many many normal domestics put together.

 

These people spend millions on property (paying huge stamp duty in the process) then they spend many more millions doing them up, and guess what, they don't DIY B&Q it!

Fairest way to do it is to say that, if you are able-bodied, you should have to do the amount of hours on community projects that it would take you to earn your unemployment benefits based on the minimum wage. It would make things better in the area and maintain some sort of work ethic amongst those unable (or even unwilling) to work. If you don't show up and make a decent effort, why should you get benefits?

The current lot have improved this to some extent, benefits are reduced and they intend to further reduce them. This has lead to more people taking jobs or starting their own business.

This is OK, but what about those who currently carry out these tasks?? Someone will lose the work that the unemployed people start doing.
