Bedtime? I don't follow?

I don't know who you support or think a party is made up of paedophiles.

I am trying to say that if you think it's okay to vote for a party made up of racists(Ukip), would it also be okay to vote for a party made up of say, murderers?

I'm saying you seem to be getting a bit over excited with the comments you are making. I'd still like to know your source for the Nazi remark. All I have said is if you don't vote for who you believe in then you should be ashamed of yourself. With regards to UKIP, if you see my comment further back, I am not a UKIP supporter. However, the racism card is a cheap and easy one to play as it is such a blurred line between what is racist and what is merely unpalatable to some people's views. Where actual racism or similar unacceptable views or behaviour have reared their heads within UKIP, it seems to me that Farage has been quicker to expel offenders than some of the other parties. What I do believe is that people should vote for any legitimate party that they feel represents them. That's democracy as I understand it. To turn your own argument around, do you think somebody shouldn't vote for a party if you disagree with their policies? The idea of murderers and paedophiles is just taking the degree of the argument to the ridiculous.

I rarely get excited these days!

There was no source for the Nazi remark, just a bit of sarcasm likening a vote for UKIP to bring about dramatic change in our country to something else that happened in the past :001_smile:

I don't think there have been any blurred lines between what is / what isn't racist in the majority of things that have came out about UKIP mps (the ones we've heard about anyway).

I will agree that Mr Farage has been quick to address these things and although he does seem to harbour some slightly predjudiced views, I don't think he is the bad apple that someone like Nick Griffin is/was.

You're right on democracy but I just don't think people should be allowed to vote for parties containing people with racist views. And I know that wouldn't create a democratic society but if voting murderers in to positions of authority seems ridiculous, what about racists?!

Im shocked at the votes ukip and tory are getting here.

Me neither, Tories are only interested in banks and lining rich folks pockets by privatising everything and selling to their cronies. Ukip are just in it for the laugh and expenses.

Aye this is decent. I got Labour which is what I assumed.

Got a higher % with UKIP rather than the Conservatives which shocked me, but apparently to do with transport (probably based on disagreeing with HS2).

I don't think a tory vote is what it used to be in reference to the "nasty party" comment. I do think a lot of the seemingly economic upturn is a bit of blag though...
