So Mr Scott, ive been hearing the same four names mentioned on numerous occasions for the theft also been told where the sheep ended up, take it the owner is aware of these names, well his father should be it is him that was the trigger for the theft

That sounds a rather brazen accusation, careful....

If you have any details why don't you be a good Samaritan and report them to the police? You might get the reward. I have a feeling your resentment towards Mr Gregor may cloud your judgement though.

What has happened with this case? I guess the sheep and thieves have not been found?

Surely that's with holding evidence which, if I'm right is a crime in its self!! Maybe your involved as you clearly have issues with the victims family.

It's got many of the key ingredients of a good book!

The crime, preceded by a hint at some mystery potentially corrupt / underhand behaviour by the victim, village collusion, conspiracy of silence, the suggestion of barbaric (possibly satanic / ritualistic) slaughter.

Can anyone suggest witchcraft or buggery? If so, I'll contact the publishing house first thing Monday!

I'm not sure wether to feel sympathy for the victim or to suspect that there's an inflated valuation preceding a dodgy insurance claim??

Not sure how it would make it any easier to find them if they were chipped, or if you can even chip an animal that will go into food chain.

I just had this vision of polishing of a large doner kebab and then bein hunted down by defra ( like the mint sauce I'd be on the lamb!)😄sorry
