Hammond is a good guy, and has his place in the trio (and is a keen biker), May is a technical nerd and helps satisfy the more pedantic and mechanically minded sorts. (Also a keen biker).

 

Clarkson hates motorcycles, and bicycles for that matter, but he's an interesting, larger than life presenter (and even better journalist in his various colums/books)

 

He is the king pin of Top Gear, and for the BBC to think they can replace him with Ben Fogle, Tiff Needel, or Olly Murs would just be a catastrophic fail for the Beebs income.

 

I'll watch and wait.

Heard on the radio just now there's over 120,000 signatures on some petition for JC to keep his job. Whether or not it makes any difference, I don't know.
