I love "Can you stop the Cavalry" by Jonah Lewie.

 

He sounds almost as depressed about Christmas as you bunch of misers. It's almost satirical!

 

That said, if my presents aren't up to scratch this year I will lose my shiz.

Did'nt bother with it last year was so completely sickened by it being rammed down your throat for the preceeding months that we did'nt even get the decorations out of the loft and for the 5th year running the oh is working xmas day as she works in a care home so will only get to spend few hours together, mind anytime soon they will start ramming january sales and easter eggs down our throats to take our minds off it ;)

Yes it has but Christmas is all about kids if you have any and seeing thier faces on christmas morning when santa has been

This is always a massive slap in the face for me....Santas getting all the credit and im the one with the big credit card bill :biggrin:

I enjoy it a lot more now I don't work with Xmas trees and I don't help with the local Christmas charity event which gets about 4,000 visitors. 2 years out of all that and its far better than thinking about xmas in January

it gives me one days work gutting xmas trees for someone who sells them at the road side so to speak next to where I do some jobs there is a estate that do wholesale trees and they have been cutting since the 1st November last week I could hear the saw going at half past four talk about h&s

I love Christmas. It reminds me to be thankful for the good things I have in my life.

Having said that I'd be well cheesed off if I bought a tree that had been cut on the 1st of November.
