I regret buying my 540 terrible saw poor build quality

My saw goes to the dealers when something's wrong which is approximately 2-3 weeks When I get it back its ether got stacks of power or in my case at the moment it's weak as piss, it's due to go back with a bent av spring so hopefull it'll return more powerful or I'll demand my money back and stage a protest that the saw isn't fit for professional use

The 540 is supposed to have more power than the 201. Tho. I want something with power and can cut fast with a 16" bar.

 

No topper then.

I like my 540 , very much dislike my 201 back up.

I do all my trees by climbing and it sucks when I don't use a topper. That's how I started to. Then I found it easier using the top handled saw

I like my 540 as well, had no problems in 12 months never had a 201.

Two 540's, bought when they came out. Broke one - my own fault. £120 repair bill and has been right as rain since.

Second one has just had a bent AV spring, accidental drop down on its bungee strop. Cheap fix and back in operation. Spare spring in the box.

Both run well and loads of power, certainly better than the original 201T's. Haven't seen newer ones running yet though.

we have a newish 201t and it goes well in my opinion very good build quality but i did have an echo before which was well made but i didnt really like the side handle and it wasnt a good starter even though it was well looked after.
