  16. Im looking for a riddle bucket(usually used for loading root crops like beet for example) to put on my skidsteer to load logs.It doesnt matter if it is of a tractor or telehandler. Many thanks guys and a happy new year to everyone.
  17. Fair play you have the same way as thinking as me a nice little digger with a grab and rotator!!! (i did have a thread about having a grab on a mini digger) I havent bought a digger yet but im thinking of a tb 016 or possibly a hitachi zaxis 1.7u but its hard to find a hitachi there are a lot of takeuchis around!! The idea of moving a digger on the linkage is a good idea if the tractor is going to the job..
  18. Hello eddie i would say the problems could begin like someone else said on here when you get stopped!!! My dad and uncle(Who run an agricultural business) regularly pull two trailers one behind the other and pull the land rover with diesel bowser behind a tractor. My uncle got pulled by the local traffic cops when i was with him and they had an issue with the landrover behind the trailer not having a marker/lighting board as wide as the trailer for some reason!!!!! To be fair its hard to get away with much these days but if your linkage is capable of lifting the digger and the bracket you make is fit for purpose there isnt much they can say! Out of interest what digger are you going to use? ...
  19. Dont think i have got what i wanted the size of the presents dont look like a new mini digger to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. If i was closer i would snap that douglas up bloody lovely timber!!!
  21. It wasnt his hedge no that was the funny part and the fact he was talking bollocks!!! I have quite a few stories like that people are funny about trees and fences!!!!
  22. I was stood on the top of a garage cutting a hedge with the polesaw which i would say hadnt been cut for ten years. When the old boy shouted to us what are you doing i said trimming the hedge mate he said im not your bloody mate!!! I said okay whats your problem then he said this hedge hasnt been trimmed since the war and furthermore if i was younger i would give you both a damn good hiding.I did laugh about that one!!!!!
  23. Moving a large mobile home which involved hooking it behind the landrover towing the two halfs over a mile up a narrow lane then hooking it on my tractor to reverse it around what can only be described as a assault course!!! then pushing it into position with the bobcat and crawling underneath with blocks of wood and concrete blocks. But it was actually good made a change for our last day!!!!!
  24. We have just wired in a connector for the same purpose on my defender. What we did was to run some good thick wire up the chassis into the battery box then put a good inline fuse(A big one not normal car rubbish Agricutural spec) Then we used a caravan connector on the back which i made a bracket for.I just connect it to tip the trailer with the engine running and so far it has been great. The battery option is a waste of time in my opinion. The wiring and connectors came to about £30 so cheap and works!!!
  25. I sell both loose loads and bulk bags but whenever i give the loose load option everyone goes for that i have hardly sold any bags.I do like the idea of potato boxes as i could get them at the right price and a big quantity and they could be stacked up outside. At the moment we have a big stack both inside and outside which we use a bobcat with bucket to load in the trailer which works well so if it isnt broke dont fix it i reckon!!!
